Hi! I’m a mild-mannered reporter engineer/musician/artist/developer, and this my family’s personal blog. Topics range anywhere from Google acquisitions, to Ubuntu Linux reviews, to tips for writing successful hymns. And now it has lots of fun posts from my wife, Jenny. I’m currently employed by Pantano Christian Church in Tucson, AZ as an audio engineer, media technician and webmaster.
Qualifications:
- System Administration: Mac OS X, GNU/Linux, Windows (all versions less Vista)
- Web Design: XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and ASP (Javascript)
- CMS Systems: WordPress, WordpressMU (template and backend customization)
- Graphic Design: Adobe Photoshop, GIMP and Macromedia Flash
- Network Administration: Cisco routers/switches, Windows and Linux servers (design and implementation), and most WiFi equipment
- Pro Sound Engineering: Front-of-house and monitor mixing (current mixing consoles: Yamaha M7CL, Mackie SR-32, Mackie 1604 VLZ-Pro)
- Pro Recording: Reason 3, Final Cut, Sonar, and Ardour
